The Category contains acronyms and abbreviations that are used in connection with knowledge management, analytical, and practical use of and work on CBNRM. Acronyms and abbreviations that are used in development work more generally - specifically in the areas of environment and natural resource management, governance, and participatory approaches - are also included. Acronyms and abbreviations that are determined by CBNRM Net as being specifically related to CBNRM are noted accordingly (see Category Terminology for the corresponding lists of terms organized in this same way, specifically its Groups CBNRM, Knowledge management terms, CBNRM, Structural terms, and CBNRM, Processual terms). As a rule, and where appropriate, acronyms and abbreviations are given in the singular. Note that in some cases the same acronym or abbreviation stand for very difficult terms.
