Introduction

Sustaining Livelihoods in Southern Africa (SLSA) is a joint initiative of: African Institute for Community-Driven Development (AICDD) and CARE-South Africa/Lesotho. AICDD was earlier known as: Khanya - Managing Rural Change. The series aims to stimulate debate and sharing of experience about livelihoods in Southern Africa. The SLSA Series is listed in Group Periodicals.
