Introduction
EarthWire/WSSD offers a free daily overview of news and events related to the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD). During the conference (through 7 September 2002), the site will be updated continually, with articles from more than 100 newspapers from around the globe, as well as updates on progress in negotiations and listings of events at the many exhibitions.
EarthWire/WSSD is a joint initiative by UNEP/GRID-Arendal and the South African Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism. The service is partly financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Environment.
